You fell in my eyes,

My legs tripped -

And you fell down,

Deep Into my heart !!

Our Thoughts merged ,

Blossomed as marriage,

And new lives sprung,

Off our happy souls.

Years passed like minutes,

As we toiled days and nights ,

To nurture and nourish them,

Bring them to greater heights!!

After the teen days of love ,

Never observed you so deep,

Just now that I watch you so close-

During the day and as you sleep !!

With eyesight that is grim,

Despite wearing thick specs-

All that I am sure about,

Is just this one fact -
